Today we will talk about the numerous collaborations Treedefi has built over time with organizations, associations, and entities that are close to nurturing and taking care of the environment.
$6,000 worth of Trees donated in April 2021
The donations were made to the following organizations:
Trees for the Future – Trees for the Future collaborates with numerous farming families throughout five nations in Sub-Saharan Africa, aiming to carry out Forest Garden Programs in Cameroon, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Tanzania, which are the regions where the most significant impact is needed and where remarkable outcomes are now being observed.
Treedom – Treedom is an online platform that enables you to remotely plant a tree and track its progress through an online account. The platform offers the option to plant a tree for its ecological benefits, such as its ability to absorb CO2, or as a unique gift for a friend.
Team Trees – During the autumn season of 2019, #TeamTrees, a joint initiative with YouTube creators aimed at encouraging global tree-planting efforts, gained significant attention on social media.
To raise $20 million, a distinctive collaboration was established between MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson, recognized for his innovative philanthropic endeavors) and Mark Rober (a former NASA scientist) in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.
RMTerra Planting Partnership – October 2021
The reforestation was held in the 3rd quarter of 2021 at Rua da Covilhã, Balazar, Portugal. It was a complex planning of growing trees in a private area in the said district.
The 350 trees planted included paulownia and maciera trees to name a few. The goal is to start a small and sustainable ecosystem that will be closely monitored by the Team RMTerra.

The partnership with TreeDefi is a unique experience for them since it was a rare opportunity for them to work on a digital-based project. They were appealed by the idea that there is an increasing need to balance the carbon footprint that was emitted by blockchain protocols hence they teamed up with TreeDefi to execute this endeavor.
Solar Panel Installation with Amazonas
Treedefi and AMZ have partnered to transport and install solar panels in the Ribeirinhas community, a resilient group residing near rivers. The initiative has provided electricity to 60 individuals, and each solar panel installed offsets approximately 180 Kg of CO2 emissions per year.

Final Thoughts
It is nostalgic to look back at these foundations that we have built together in the past. The value of the tokens has changed significantly but so are the lives, ecosystems, and trees that we have planted.
