Building A Solid Partnership

Roots, partnership, and a strong foundation are three important concepts that are critical to success in many areas of life. Whether in personal relationships, business ventures, or personal growth, these three elements form the building blocks of lasting achievement and fulfillment.

Tagpuan Eco-Park
Located right at the heart of the Sierra Madre, the longest mountain range in the Philippines. Hundreds of trees donated by Treedefi in the past have considered this park to be their permanent home.

The place is headed and managed by Josh Bayabo and the Ms. Earth Eco-Tourism 2021, Sofia Galve. It is a place where people can experience nature, a quick getaway from the busy streets of Metro Manila.

Planting The Seeds

Tagpuan is where the very first tree-planting activity in the Philippines took place. Starting with a few trees in 2021, it proved to be quite a challenge executing an event in the middle of the COVID restrictions.

Despite these difficulties, Team Tagpuan and Treedefi were still able to push through with the event regardless of the limited manpower and the requirement to acquire necessary authorizations.

A year after the first event, we held three more tree-planting efforts in Tagpuan. This time in partnership with GreenBeli, a blockchain-based game that also promotes the love for the environment. The event has been planned for several months but it was finally held on May 1st which is also the celebration of Labor Day in the Philippines.

Last but definitely not least is the two-day activity held with the Miss Earth candidates of 2022. It was a moment worth remembering because not only the day was filled with future queens but they also came from different parts of the Philippines to contribute their time and effort to spend time with the environment and mark their legacy by planting trees in Tagpuan Eco-Park.

Final Thoughts
As we come to a close, We want to emphasize the importance of partnership and foundation in taking care of our environment. None of us can do this alone, but by working together and building a strong foundation of shared values and commitments, we can make a real difference in preserving and protecting the planet we all call home.
